With our focus set on spiritual skills
What is a spiritual skill?
Is it clairvoyance?
Is it clairaudience?
Is it clair-cognition?
Is it clairsentience?
Is it a healing ability?
What is it?
The above-mentioned skills are definitely spiritual skills, yes. It’s our senses elevated into a higher dimension. But I would like to go broader than that. I would like to take it to a, for most people, more tangible level.
So, could a spiritual skill also be love or compassion? Could it be the ability to relate to other people? Could it be the ability to stay present and live in the moment? Could it be the skill to really listen to someone?
I believe it’s all of it, and more.
I believe we were told through the Bible what we as humans are capable of through Jesus, and we hear about all his spiritual skills that I mentioned previosly,
A very important spiritual gift for me personally, is to find the gift in everything - even the toughest of times, most challenging times, God always presents us with a gift and it's up to us to find it and understand what it is. But isn't a spiritual skill also to feel grateful, to enjoy the little things such as birds singing, the sunrise or sunset, wind in the treetops etc.
The more present we can be in and with everything, the more spirit is present. When we fear the future or are stuck in the past, we are not in spirit.
You have probably met people during your life, who were full of spirit, high energy and kind’a happy-go-lucky. We call them ‘spirited’ = alive.
The absolute most important spiritual skill is to BE ALIVE. We are full of life when we are in the present moment. So, a challenge for you for this SOULFUL SATURDAY: Be as much in the present by being present today. You deserve it, and so do all the wonderful people you have in your life.
With all my love
